NAME
       sys_attrs_bsd_tty - bsd_tty subsystem attributes

DESCRIPTION
This reference page lists and describes attributes for the BSD Terminal
(bsd_tty) kernel subsystem. Refer to the sys_attrs(5) reference page
for an introduction to the topic of kernel subsystem attributes.

The number of clist buffers to be allocated.

This TTY subsystem is specifically for the clist-based TTY sub‐
system. (The operating system has both STREAMS-based and clist-
based TTY subsystems.) The clist-based TTY subsystem is used by
the console and the serial ports.

To configure pseudo terminals to	be clist-based, specify the
pseudodevice pty nn (default: nn = 80) in the kernel configura‐
	      tion file.
