NAME
graffiti - draw lines on geomview objects
DESCRIPTION
Graffiti is a geomview module which allows you to draw
polygonal lines on objects in the geomview window. The
Graffiti panel has buttons labeled "Draw", "Undo", "Vertices
Only", and "Quit". To start drawing, press the Draw button.
While the Draw button is down, you may interactively draw a
polygonal line with vertices on objects in the geomview
window; clicking the right mouse button on any object in the
geomview window will cause a vertex to be added to the line.
Throughout the drawing process, the initial point (the
"tail") of the line is shown in a small box, and the last
point (the "head") is shown in a small pyramid. If you
click the right mouse button on the line's tail (the small
box), graffiti closes up the line segment. To end the line
segment without closing it up, just press the Draw button in
the graffiti window again.
Pressing the Undo button in the graffiti window while
drawing a line will undo the line's last vertex.
The Vertices Only button, when on, causes graffiti to only
recognize vertices in geomview objects. Use this button to
force your line's vertices to coincide with those of
existing geomview objects.
The Quit button exits graffiti.
BUGS
The cube and pyramid which indicate the tail and head of the
line are drawn with an absolute size which may or may not be
appropriate for all geomview objects.
The object created by graffiti is named "graffiti". If you
quit graffiti and start it up a second time in the same
geomview session, it uses this same name, thereby destroying
the graffiti object you created the first time.
Graffiti can create a maximum of 100 distinct polygonal
lines having at most a total of 1000 vertices.
