NAME
     udf_db - Display the metadata structures of a UDF filesystem

SYNOPSIS
     udf_db [-c {-,FILE}] [-f] [-h] [-i] <device name>

DESCRIPTION
     udf_db is a simple command line program that displays the metadata
     structures of a UDF filesystem.

     The options to udf_db are as follows:

     -c {-,FILE}
	  Execute commands from STDIN or from a file.

     -f	  Display the first 64 bytes of data in each file.  By default only
	  metadata is displayed.

     -h	  Display the help text.

     -i	  Interactive mode.

EXAMPLES
     To only display the metadata structures of a UDF filesystem in a slice on
     a block device, dks0d6s7:

	  udf_db /dev/dsk/dks0d6s7

     To execute commands from a shell prompt:

	  # echo "bitmap" | udf_db -c - /dev/dsk/dks0d6s7

     To execute commands from a file:

	  udf_db -c file.txt /dev/dsk/dks0d6s7

     To display the metadata structures plus the first 64 bytes of data in
     each file from a block device, dks0d4vol, with a UDF filesystem:

	  udf_db -f /dev/dsk/dks0d4vol

     Run in interactive mode:

	  udf_db -i /dev/dsk/dks0d4vol

     In interactive mode, for a list of valid commands type "help":

	  udf_db> help
