SNOOZE(8) BSD System Manager's Manual SNOOZE(8)

NAME
snooze — will put an Apple Macintosh Powerbook into sleep.

SYNOPSIS
     snooze [-hv] [-f] [-p port]

DESCRIPTION
Snooze is a program, which is usefull only for Apple Macintosh Power‐
books. On invocation, it will request the machine to put itself into
sleep. This is done by connecting to pmud and give pmud the command to
put the machine to sleep. You can override the portnumber with the [-p
port] option. If you invoke snooze with the [-f] option, then snooze will
put the machine into sleep itself. This is NOT recommended, because you
will not get the benefits of all the facilities that pmud has to offer.

BUGS AND CHANGE REQUESTS
