MMKMF(1)MMKMF(1)NAMEmmkmf - create a Makefile from an Imakefile
SYNOPSISmmkmf [ -a ] [-32|-o32|-n32|-64] [-mips2|-mips3|-mips4]
VERSION
This page documents version 1.2 of the Motif library.
DESCRIPTION
The mmkmf command is the normal way to create a Motif specific Makefile
from an Imakefile shipped with third-party software.
When invoked with no arguments in a directory containing an Imakefile,
the imake program is run with arguments appropriate for your system
(configured into mmkmf when Motif was built) and generates a Makefile.
When invoked with the -a option, mmkmf builds the Makefile in the cur‐
rent directory, and then automatically executes ``make Makefiles'' (in
case there are subdirectories)
and ``make includes'' for you.
The options -32, -o32, -n32 and -64 control the MIPS ABI used, while
-mips2, -mips3 and -mips4 control the MIPS Instruction Set Archtecture.
If no ABI or ISA is given, the environment variable SGI_ABI is examined
and if this is unset then -n32 is assumed.
