NAME
     miditime — tclmidi command to get the current MIDI device time

SYNOPSIS
     miditime DevID

DESCRIPTION
     miditime is a tclmidi(1) command that gets the current time in the MIDI
     device.  The argument is a device identifier, as return by a call to
     mididevice(n).

     miditime returns the time as SMF ticks since the beginning of the song
     being played or recorded.

RETURN VALUES
     The number of SMF ticks on a device since the start of playing or record‐
     ing.
