NAME
midimake — tclmidi command to create an empty MIDI song

SYNOPSIS
     midimake

DESCRIPTION
midimake is a tclmidi(1) command that creates an empty MIDI song for use
by other tclmidi(1) commands. By default the MIDI song is created with 0
tracks allocated, the format is type zero and the division is 120. These
defaults can then be changed with the midiconfig(n) command.

Since midimake allocates space for the MIDI song, midifree(n) should be
used when the file is no longer needed.

RETURN VALUES
midimake returns a MIDI song descriptor for use by other tclmidi(1) com‐
     mands.
