IL2STIFF(1) Impressario IL2STIFF(1)NAMEil2stiff - convert images from IL supported formats to Stream TIFF
SYNOPSISil2stiff [ -O filename ] [ -L filename ] [ -D ] [ImageFilename ...]
DESCRIPTIONil2stiff converts images in formats supported by IL(1) into Stream TIFF
(STIFF) format. The imgformats(1) command can be used to determine which
formats are currently supported by IL(1).
il2stiff reads from standard in if a file name is not specified on the
command line. By default, il2stiff assumes that its output should be
written to the standard output and messages should be written to standard
error.
-O filename
Specifies the name of the file to which the STIFF output will
be sent. If the -O option is not specified, output will be
sent to the standard output.
-L filename
Specifies the name of the file to which error, warning and
informational messages are to be written. If the file
specified already exists, any messages generated by il2stiff
will be appended to the end of the file. If the -L option is
not specified, message output will be sent to standard error.
-h Prints a program usage message to the standard error.
-D Specifies verbose output for debugging purposes.
If il2stiff is given an unrecognized or incomplete command line option
switch, it will print a warning message to the standard error, ignore the
option and continue processing.
