build_cmgr_script(1M) build_cmgr_script(1M)

NAME
build_cmgr_script - Builds cmgr script from cluster database.

SYNOPSIS
     build_cmgr_script [-o pathname] [-vv] [-s [-dr]]

DESCRIPTION
The build_cmgr_script command creates a cmgr(1m) script from the cluster
configuration. You can use this command to rebuild the cluster database
in CXFS and FailSafe clusters. Administrators are expected to save the
configuration changes made in CXFS and FailSafe clusters using this tool.
When needed, you can use the generated cmgr(1m) script to recreate the
     cluster database.

You can also use build_cmgr_script to create create_resource_type scripts
from the resource type configuration in the cluster database.

OPTIONS
-o pathname Specifies the pathname for the generated cmgr script. The
		 default is /tmp/cmgr_create_cluster_<clustername>_<processID>
and actual filename is printed by the command.

-v Verbose mode, use -vv for more verbosity.

-s Creates create_resource_type scripts for all resource types
		 present in the cluster database.

-r pathname Specifies the directory where Failsafe create_resource_type
scripts are created. The default directory is
		 /tmp/resource_types_<processID>/. The create_resource_type
script is created under a sub-directory with the resource
type as the name. This option must be used in conjunction
		 with the -s option.

-d Displays the differences between the default resource type
definition and the resource type definition in the cluster
database. This option must be used in conjunction with the
		 -s option.

NOTE
build_cmgr_script uses the format_cmgr script to format the generated
     cmgr script.
